We feel extremely blessed to be doing what we love on a daily basis. Not only do we get to work with the land, but our objective is to expose & highlight nature's inherent beauty. While this is a great privilege & delight, we also believe we are called to be stewards of the earth, and we aim to be mindful of this responsibility in our daily functions, as we take steps toward preserving the resources we have been given in "trust" for future generations. Come alongside us in our responsibility as faithful and wise stewards and learn more about how our role in the landscape matters practically under the "Green Living" tab.
We believe that the stewardship imperative extends not only to the earth & its resources, but beyond it to the service of others. Our business has been a blessing in our lives, and recognizing that our skills are a gift, we want to use what we have been given to bless & serve others.
There are three local organizations which we have been honored to work alongside in reaching out to the less fortunate both here and abroad. Nations Ministry Center is an organization which serves Nashville's extensive & expanding refugee community. The ministry has welcomed and provided assistance to hundreds of African refugees and their families- many of whom are third-generation refugee camp inhabitants (which we find to be a shocking concept). We have been humbled by the spirit of love and hope exhibited by these newest citizens, and although we volunteer our time & resources to this community in an effort to help them learn the ways of their new 'world', we find time and again that we are the ones that are being taught. You can find out more about this wonderful organization by clicking
here.
Similarly, African Leadership is a Christian education & development organization which trains pastors and church leaders in Africa, and funds development projects in their communities. The need is great, and this ministry believes that by empowering individuals to grow, training leaders to serve, and teaching communities to share, Africa can be transformed from within. We are honored to have a very small part in the work that they are doing. You can find out more by clicking here.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee is a local organization which provides positive adult role models to children in need. This organization has given one of our owners the highly-rewarding opportunity to mentor and be-friend a "Little" for the past three years. To visit their website, click here.
